Normally, gift cards do not award points at the time of purchase. Points are usually applied when the gift card is used to place an order.
🎄 For Christmas 2025, we’re making an exception.
Until December 24, 2025, receive 1 point for every dollar spent on gift cards*. Points will appear in your account a minimum of 24 hours after the purchase.
This means:
- The person who buys the gift card earns the points*, and the recipient can also earn points when using the card, as long as they are registered and logged into their Martino customer account.
- So giving a gift card lets you earn points on both sides, and buying one for yourself means you benefit twice: once at purchase and again when you use it.
Points are calculated based on the total value of gift cards purchased, regardless of the number of cards or individual amounts.
Examples:
- 1 $200 gift card → 200 points
- 10 $25 gift cards → 250 points
- 4 $100 gift cards → 400 points
- Combined amounts → points calculated on the total value
Here’s how to earn your points:

A customer profile created during checkout (without a password) is not a registered account.

Don’t forget to check your junk or spam folder.

3 — Shop for gift cards
You may add as many gift cards as you like, in different denominations.
IMPORTANT NOTES

To earn and use your Martino Points, you must be enrolled in the loyalty program and logged into your account when making a purchase.
Why?
Because points are always linked to a specific customer account. Without an active account—and without being logged in—it’s simply not possible to assign points.
What is the L’empreinte Martino loyalty program?
The L’empreinte Martino loyalty program allows you to collect Martino Points through your online or in-store purchases, as well as by completing a few simple actions such as:
- Creating your loyalty account
- Subscribing to the newsletter
- Referring Martino to a friend
- Leaving a product review
- Participating in special seasonal actions
Your Martino Points can then be exchanged for exclusive rewards, including discounts on future purchases.

To receive Martino Points related to the purchase of gift cards, you must be logged in to your Martino customer account before completing your purchase. Points cannot be added retroactively, even upon request. A customer profile automatically created during checkout (without a password) is not considered a Martino account.
Please allow a minimum of 24 hours after the purchase of the gift card for the points to appear in your account.
Points are calculated at a rate of 1 point per dollar spent on gift cards, based on the total purchase amount, regardless of the combination
(for example 1 × $20 or 2 × $10 = 20 points).
Points are credited to the account that is logged in at the time of purchase.
If you purchase a gift card to give as a gift, you receive the points earned from the purchase.
The recipient will only earn points if they are registered and logged into the loyalty program when using the card.
If you purchase a gift card for yourself, you enjoy the gift AND the points — a double benefit.
Gift cards are delivered by email to the address provided at checkout.
You can print them and slip them into a Christmas card if desired.
Difference Between “Customer Profile” and “Customer Account”
A customer profile may exist after a purchase (in-store or online), but without a first name, last name, or password — it is simply a record linked to your email address.
A
customer account
means you have created a password (or activated your account) so you can
log in, see your orders, and receive your loyalty points.
