The fit
True to size: if you usually wear half size, pick a size up or refer to our Fit guide.
When you first try it on
Untie shoelaces, unzip and insert your foot inside. Zip it on and then adjust the laces for your best comfort. You should feel a little bit tight in it at first. The wool lining will quickly flatten to fit your feet. For extra depth, remove the cup (inner sole) inside the boot. We suggest you try them on for 10 minutes at home to make sure they fit you well before wearing them outside.
Care
The leather is oiled and treated in factory before being shipped to you. This treatment assures your boots are easy to clean with a damp cloth. You can also use a water and vinegar solution to remove stubborn salt stains. After a good cleaning or at the begining and/or the end of the season you may need to protect the leather of your boots with the AMIMOC leather protector. Try any care product on a small and unapparent part of your boots before using all over. For more information, consult our Care Guide.
While some of our satisfied customers have confessed using their Meredith for a walk off the trail, these boots have been designed for an urban use. Wearing them with snowshoes may scratch the leather.
